Testimony

By: KellyMarie B.

I’m Kelly and I’m an addict. When I finally let go enough to say those words, I reached out for help. I heard about Just Believe Recovery Center from a clinical professional at a local hospital, where I was taken to help me through withdrawals. They had a bed for me and I was admitted that day.  Until my time at JBRC, I felt worthless. I felt that I had no reason to live if all I would every know is pain and suffering and also causing pain and suffering to those around me. But, they showed me that there was a person beneath my addiction, begging to be let out. We can’t cure addiction, but we can fight against it. I was shown the way. I let go absolutely. My sobriety/clean date is August 17, 2015. It’s hard to believe the amazing life I have now is real, and that I was able to accomplish the things I have, and in such a small amount of time. I have a strong career, the respect and love of my family, but most of all, I have found respect and love for myself. I am truly and genuinely happy today. I couldn’t have done any of it without JBRC.  Thank you all for giving me my life back. Now it’s up to me to make it the best it can be.
